Reports narrated by Abu Said al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5426 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قُرَيْظٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صِيَامُ رَمَضَانَ إِلَى رَمَضَانَ كَفَّارَةُ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا»
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The fasting of one Ramadan to the next Ramadan is an expiation for (the sins committed) between them."
