Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5401 — Nuh (peace be upon him) was called

Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Mas'ud al-Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Nuh (peace be upon him) was called "a grateful servant" because whenever he ate and drank, he praised Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
