ومما أسند أبي بن كعب رضي الله عنه
Reports narrated by Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 540 — the Prophet ﷺ recited this verse: You have
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، ثنا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا أَبُو الْجَارِيَةِ الْعَبْدِيُّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَرَأَ: {قَدْ بَلَغْتَ مِنْ لَدُنِّي} [الكهف: ٧٦] مُثَقَّلَةً "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "You have reached from me an excuse" [Surah al-Kahf: 76], reading "ladunni" with a doubled (shaddah) nun.
