حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، قَالَا: ثنا هَوْذَةُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ الْغَازِي مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنَّ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ شَيْءٌ، وَمَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever equips a fighter in the path of Allah, or looks after his family well in his absence, will have the like of the fighter's reward, without anything being reduced from his reward; and whoever provides a fasting person with food to break his fast will have the like of his reward."
