بسر بن سعيد، عن زيد بن خالد
Busr bin Said from Zayd bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5209 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالَا: ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ، ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا، وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever equips a fighter in the path of Allah has, as it were, fought himself; and whoever looks after the family of a fighter in his absence has also, as it were, fought himself."
