عبد الرحمن بن أبي عمرة، عن زيد بن خالد
Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Amrah from Zayd bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5166 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Shall I
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ؟ الَّذِينَ يَبْدَءُونَ بِشَهَادَتِهِمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلُوهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not inform you of the best of witnesses? They are those who come forward with their testimony before they are asked for it."
