أبو عمرة مولى الأنصار، عن زيد بن خالد
Abu Amrah, freed slave of the Ansar, from Zayd bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5156 — We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا عَمْرَةَ مَوْلَى الْأَنْصَارِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ زَيْدَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ، يَقُولُ: «كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِخَيْبَرَ، فَمَاتَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَشْجَعَ، فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَهَبُوا يَنْظُرُونَ فِي مَتَاعِهِ، فَوَجَدُوا فِيهِ خَرَزاتٍ مِنْ خَرَزِ يَهُودٍ يُسَاوِي دِرْهَمَيْنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at Khaybar when a man from Banu Ashja' died, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not offer the funeral prayer over him. The people went to search his belongings and found in them some beads from the beads of the Jews, worth two dirhams.
