Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 515 — On the day of Badr the angels descended

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ السَّمْتِيُّ، ثنا الصَّلْتُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:: «نَزَلَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ وَعَلَيْهَا الْعَمَائِمُ، وَكَانَتْ عَلَى الزُّبَيْرِ يَوْمَئِذٍ عِمَامَةٌ صَفْرَاءُ»
Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: On the day of Badr the angels descended wearing turbans, and on that day Sayyiduna al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) had a yellow turban on his head.
