حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ قُتِلَ يَوْمَ الْجِسْرِ جِسْرِ الْمَدَائِنِ مَعَ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ، زَيْدُ بْنُ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ كَعْبٍ»
Urwah said: Among those of the Ansar, then of Banu al-Najjar, who were martyred with Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) on the day of the Bridge of al-Mada'in: Sayyiduna Zayd bin Suraqah bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him).
