Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5100 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: What

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَا: ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنَا حُسَامُ بْنُ مِصَكٍّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نِعْمَ الْمَرْءُ بِلَالٌ وَلَا يَتْبَعُهُ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ، وَهُوَ سَيِّدُ الْمُؤَذِّنِينَ، وَالْمُؤَذِّنُونَ أَطْوَلُ النَّاسِ أَعْنَاقًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What an excellent man Bilal is! None follows him except a believer. He is the leader of the mu'adhdhins (callers to prayer), and the mu'adhdhins will have the longest necks on the Day of Resurrection."
