ميمون أبو عبد الله، عن زيد بن أرقم
Maymun Abu Abdullah from Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5076 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Ali: Are
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ الْقَزَّازُ الْكُوفِيُّ، قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ قَرْمٍ، عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، وَالْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِعَلِيٍّ: «أَلَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى؟»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam and Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Are you not pleased that your rank with me should be that which Harun (peace be upon him) had with Musa (peace be upon him)?"
