Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5033 — My eyes became inflamed

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: My eyes became inflamed, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to visit me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Zayd! If your eyes were to remain as they are, what would you do?" I said: I would be patient and hope for the reward. He said: "O Zayd! If your eyes were to remain as they are and you were patient and hoped for the reward, there would be no reward for you less than Paradise."
