حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ، أَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَهْبِيُّ، ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، قَالَ: «غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً» قُلْتُ: كَمْ غَزَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: «تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I took part in seventeen military expeditions with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). I asked: How many expeditions did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) undertake in all? He said: "Nineteen expeditions."
