حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ السَّقَطِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَا: ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلْمَانَ الْمُؤَذِّنِ، قَالَ: «تُوُفِّيَ أَبُو سَرِيحَةَ الْغِفَارِيُّ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ، فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا» ، وَقَالَ: «هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي»
Abu Salman the mu'adhdhin narrates: Abu Sarihah al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, and Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) led his funeral prayer and said four takbirs, and he said: "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pray."
