حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ جَبَلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الصَّائِغُ، قَالُوا: ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بَرَدَانَ بْنِ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «صَلَاةُ الْمَرْءِ فِي بَيْتِهِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ فِي مَسْجِدِي إِلَّا الْمَكْتُوبَةَ»
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man's prayer in his own home is better than the prayer he offers in my mosque, except for the obligatory prayer."
