Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4765 — I bought some oil from the market

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I bought some oil from the market, and when I had taken full possession of it, a man met me and offered me a good profit on it. I intended to strike my hand on his (to seal the deal), but a man behind me seized my arm. I turned round and it was Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: Do not sell it where you bought it until you have taken it to your lodging, "for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that goods be sold in the same place where they were bought, until the traders take them to their lodgings."
