حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الشَّامِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، ثنا نَافِعٌ، عَنْ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ لِصَاحِبِ الْعَرِيَّةِ أَنْ يَبِيعَهَا بِخَرْصِهَا»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted the owner of an 'ariyyah to sell it according to its estimated amount.
