حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى كَاتَبُ الْعُمَرِيِّ، ثنا مُفَضَّلُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الطَّوِيلِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ فِي بَيْعِ الْعَرَايَا بِخَرْصِهَا»

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) relates that Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) told him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) granted permission to sell 'araya according to their estimated amount.
