Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4705 — from Sayyiduna Abu Talhah

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a man who was saying: "O Allah, I ask You by virtue of the fact that all praise belongs to You alone; there is no god but You; You are the Bestower of favours, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, the Possessor of Majesty and Honour." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He has asked Allah by His Name by which, when He is supplicated, He answers."
