حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ»
رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ يُكْنَى أَبَا أَرْوَى «وَأُمُّ رَبِيعَةَ، وَأُمُّ أَخِيهِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَاحِدَةٌ، وَهِيَ عَزَّةُ بِنْتُ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ فِهْرٍ تُوُفِّي سَنَةَ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ، وَمَاتَ نَوْفَلُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ وَيُكْنَى أَبَا الْحَارِثِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ سَنَةَ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ، وَهُوَ أَخُوهُ لِأَبِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ كُلُّهُمْ أُخْوَةٌ لِأَبٍ وَأُمُّ رَبِيعَةَ وَأَبُو سُفْيَانَ وَنَوْفَلٌ»
رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ يُكْنَى أَبَا أَرْوَى «وَأُمُّ رَبِيعَةَ، وَأُمُّ أَخِيهِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَاحِدَةٌ، وَهِيَ عَزَّةُ بِنْتُ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ فِهْرٍ تُوُفِّي سَنَةَ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ، وَمَاتَ نَوْفَلُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ وَيُكْنَى أَبَا الْحَارِثِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ سَنَةَ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ، وَهُوَ أَخُوهُ لِأَبِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ كُلُّهُمْ أُخْوَةٌ لِأَبٍ وَأُمُّ رَبِيعَةَ وَأَبُو سُفْيَانَ وَنَوْفَلٌ»
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from al-Zubayr bin Abd al-Rahman bin al-Zubayr, from his father:
Rabi'ah bin al-Harith bin Abd al-Muttalib bin Hashim, whose kunyah was Abu Arwa. The mother of Rabi'ah and the mother of his brother Abu Sufyan bin al-Harith were one and the same: she was Azzah bint Qays bin Tarif, from the descendants of al-Harith bin Fihr. (Rabi'ah) died in the year 23 AH. And Nawfal bin al-Harith, whose kunyah was Abu al-Harith, died in Madinah in the year 15 AH; he was his full brother. They were all brothers from both father and mother: Rabi'ah, Abu Sufyan and Nawfal.
Rabi'ah bin al-Harith bin Abd al-Muttalib bin Hashim, whose kunyah was Abu Arwa.
