Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4496 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Friday

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ، ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالُوا: ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ثنا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُنْذِرِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ سَيِّدُ الْأَيَّامِ وَأَعْظَمُهَا عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنِ يَوْمِ الْأَضْحَى وَيَوْمِ الْفِطْرِ، فِيهِ خَمْسُ خِلَالٍ، خَلَقَ اللهُ فِيهِ آدَمَ، وَأَهْبَطَ اللهُ فِيهِ آدَمَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ، وَفِيهِ تَوَفَّى اللهُ آدَمَ، وَفِيهِ سَاعَةٌ لَا يَسْأَلُ اللهَ الْعَبْدُ فِيهَا شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ مَا لَمْ يَسْأَلْ حَرَامًا، وَفِيهِ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ، مَا مِنْ مَلَكٍ مُقَرَّبٍ وَلَا سَمَاءٍ وَلَا أَرْضٍ وَلَا بَحْرٍ إِلَّا وَهُوَ مُشْفِقٌ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ»

Sayyiduna Abu Lubabah bin Abd al-Mundhir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Friday is the master of days and greater with Allah than the day of Eid al-Adha and the day of Eid al-Fitr. It has five distinctive features: on it Allah created Adam (peace be upon him); on it Allah sent Adam (peace be upon him) down to the earth; on it Allah caused Adam (peace be upon him) to die; in it there is an hour in which, if the servant asks Allah for anything other than something unlawful, Allah grants it to him; and on it the Hour will be established. There is no angel brought near, no heaven, no earth and no sea except that it is fearful of Friday."
