حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ «فِيمَنَ اسْتُشْهِدَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ حَارِثَةَ، رَافِعِ بْنِ الْمُعَلَّى»
Muhammad bin Ishaq (may Allah have mercy on him), mentioning those of the Muslims from the Ansar, then from Banu Khubayb bin Abd Harithah, who were martyred on the Day of Badr with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), said: "Rafi' bin al-Mu'alla."
