حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَعْبَدُ بْنُ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْقَيْنِ، أَخُو بَنِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: «خَرَجْنَا فِي الْحَجَّةِ الَّتِي بَايَعَنَا فِيهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْعَقَبَةِ وَكَانَ نَقِيبُ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ رَافِعَ بْنَ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْعَجْلَانِ»
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We set out on the Hajj journey in which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took the pledge from us at al-Aqabah, and the naqib (representative) of Banu Zurayq was Rafi' bin Malik bin al-Ajlan.
