حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ، ثنا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ، أَخْبَرَ عَبْدَ اللهَ بْنَ عُمَرَ وَهُوَ مُتَّكِئٌ عَلَى يَدَيَّ أَنَّ عُمُومَتَهُ جَاءُوا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ رَجَعُوا إِلَى رَافِعٍ بَعْدَمَا رَوَوْا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَهَى عَنْ كَرْيِ الْمَزَارِعِ»
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) informed Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), while he was leaning on my hands, that his (Rafi's) paternal uncles came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then returned to Sayyiduna Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) and narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade renting out farmland.
