محمود بن لبيد الأنصاري، عن رافع بن خديج
Mahmud bin Labid al-Ansari from Rafi bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4284 — he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «الْعَامِلُ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ كَالْغَازِي حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The one appointed to collect zakah is like a fighter in the way of Allah, until he returns to his home."
