Khubayb bin Adi al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4177 — The Prophet ﷺ sent a detachment of ten
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أُسَيْدِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: بَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَشْرَةَ رَهْطٍ عَيْنًا مِنْهُمْ خُبَيْبُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، وَزَيْدُ بْنُ دَثِنَةَ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ مَعْمَرٍ
It is narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a detachment of ten men, among whom were Khubayb bin Adi and Zayd bin al-Dathinah. Then the narrator mentioned a hadith like the hadith of Ma'mar.
