Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4167 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave the salam

Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the salam after three rak'ahs of the Asr prayer, then went inside. A man called al-Khirbaq, whose hands were long, stood up and said: "Has the prayer been shortened, O Messenger of Allah?" So he (peace and blessings be upon him) came out angry, dragging his cloak, and said: "Is he telling the truth?" The people said: "Yes." So he stood and prayed that (remaining) rak'ah.
