حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، وَأَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ: تُوُفِّيَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ فِي يَوْمٍ حَارٍّ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ كَالْغَدِ جَلَسْتُ إِلَى سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ، وَخَالِدِ بْنِ عُرْفُطَةَ فَقَالَا: مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تُؤْذِنَنَا بِجِنَازَةِ الرَّجُلِ الصَّالِحِ فَنَشْهَدَهُ؟، قُلْنَا: كَانَ الْحَرُّ وَكَانَ الرَّجُلُ مَبْطُونًا، فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ: أَلَمْ تَسْمَعِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ يَقْتُلُهُ بَطْنُهُ لَمْ يُعَذَّبْ فِي قَبْرِهِ؟» ، قَالَ: بَلَى
Abdullah bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) relates: A man from the tribe of Juhaynah died on a hot day. When the next day came, I sat with Sayyiduna Sulayman bin Surad and Khalid bin Urfutah (may Allah be pleased with them both), and they both said: What prevented you from informing us of the funeral of this righteous man so that we could attend it? We said: It was very hot, and the man had been suffering from a stomach illness. At this one of them said to his companion: Did you not hear the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever is killed by his belly will not be punished in his grave"? He said: Certainly.
