حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْجَارُودِ مَسْعُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ، ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ هَارُونَ الصُّوفِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ زُهْرَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «كَانَ إِذَا دَعَا بَدَأَ بِنَفْسِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made a supplication, he would begin with himself.
