عبد الله بن يزيد أبو عبد الرحمن الحبلي، عن أبي أيوب
Abdullah bin Yazid Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli from Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4063 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say
حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنِي شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «رَوْحَةٌ أَوْ غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ وَغَرَبَتْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Setting out in the path of Allah for one evening or one morning is better than everything upon which the sun rises and sets."
