Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 404 — the Prophet ﷺ entered the House
حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعُمَرِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ فَرَأَى صُوَرًا فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ، فَجَعَلَ يَمْحُوهَا وَيَقُولُ: «قَاتَلَ اللهُ قَوْمًا يُصَوِّرُونَ مَا لَا يَخْلُقُونَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the House (the Ka'bah) and saw images, so he called for water and began erasing them, saying: "May Allah destroy a people who make things that they do not create."
