Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 400 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: This plague

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْأَجْلَحِ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ هَذَا الطَّاعُونَ رِجْزٌ وَعَذَابٌ، عُذِّبَ بِهِ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ، فَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا، وَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ وَلَسْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا»
Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This plague is a punishment and a torment with which those before you were punished. When it is in a land, do not leave it, and when it breaks out in a land where you are not present, do not enter it."
