حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ كُلْثُومٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: اسْتَأْذَنْتُ لِأُنَاسٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَذِنَ لَهُمْ، فَإِذَا هُوَ مُقَنِّعٌ رَأْسَهُ بِبُرْدٍ لَهُ مَعَافِرِيٍّ، فَكَشَفَ الْقِنَاعَ عَنْ رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ: «لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ»
Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I sought permission for some people from among the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave them permission, while he (peace and blessings be upon him) had covered his head with a Ma'afiri cloak. He (peace and blessings be upon him) removed the cloak from his head, then said: "May Allah curse the Jews; they took the graves of their Prophets as places of prostration."
