Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3894 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Whoever fasts Ramadan

حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ، ثُمَّ أَتْبَعَهُ مِنْ شَوَّالٍ فَقَدْ صَامَ الدَّهْرَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever fasts Ramadan and then follows it up in Shawwal, it is as though he fasted perpetually."
