Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When food was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he would eat some of it and then send it to us. (Once) food was brought to us from which he (peace and blessings be upon him) had eaten nothing, so I said to the woman of the house: Do not hurry. Then I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned it to him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is a vegetable, and I dislike its smell." Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah, I too dislike what you dislike.
