Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3641 — I heard Sayyiduna Khabbab bin al-Aratt

Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard Sayyiduna Khabbab bin al-Aratt (may Allah be pleased with him) say: On the day of Uhud, Sayyiduna Mus'ab bin Umayr (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred, and he left nothing except a striped woollen cloak (namirah). When his face and head were covered with it, his feet were exposed, and when his feet were covered with it, his head was exposed. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Cover his head with it and place some idhkhir grass over his feet."
