حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي الْخُوَارِ، مَوْلًى لِبَنِي عَامِرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَارِثَ بْنَ الْبَرْصَاءِ وَهُوَ فِي الْمَوْسِمِ يُنَادِي فِي النَّاسِ - قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَحْلِفُ عَلَى يَمِينٍ كَاذِبَةٍ لِيَقْتَطِعَ بِهَا حَقَّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ إِلَّا لَقِيَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ» .
A freed slave (mawla) of Banu Amir said: I heard Sayyiduna al-Harith bin al-Barsa' (may Allah be pleased with him) calling out among the people during the Hajj season — Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I believe this is what he said — that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever swears a false oath in order to cut off the right of a Muslim will meet Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, while Allah is angry with him."
