Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3291 — The Prophet ﷺ came to Madinah

Sayyiduna Abu Waqid al-Laythi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Madinah, and the people used to cut off the humps of camels and the fat tails of sheep while the animals were alive. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whatever is cut off from an animal while it is alive is (in the ruling of) carrion."
