Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3187 — I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: What

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا يُذْهِبُ عَنِّي مَذَمَّةَ الرَّضَاعِ؟ قَالَ: «غُرَّةٌ، عَبْدٌ أَوْ أَمَةٌ»
Sayyiduna al-Hajjaj bin Malik al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): What is appropriate to give to discharge the obligation owed for suckling? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Something fine: a male slave or a female slave."
