حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّخَعِيُّ الْقَاضِي الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا عَمَّارُ بْنُ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْجَنْبِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ النَّخَعِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَسَنِ بْنِ حَسَنٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ ضَحَّى طَيِّبَةً بِهَا نَفْسُهُ، مُحْتَسِبًا لِأُضْحِيَّتِهِ؛ كَانَتْ لَهُ حِجَابًا مِنَ النَّارِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever offers a sacrifice wholeheartedly, seeking the reward of his sacrifice from Allah, it will be a screen for him from the Fire."
