Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2705 — Sayyiduna al-Hasan bin Ali said

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ الْأَوْدِيُّ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَبْعَثُهُ بِالسَّرِيَّةِ - يَعْنِي عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - فَيُقَاتِلُ، جِبْرِيلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَمِيكَائِيلُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، وَلَا يَرْجِعُ حَتَّى يَفْتَحَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ»
Hubayrah bin Yarim said that Sayyiduna al-Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to send him - that is, Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) - with the army detachment, and he would fight, with Jibril on his right and Mika'il on his left, and he would not return until Allah granted him victory."
