حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا جَنْدَلُ بْنُ وَالِقٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْعِجْلِيُّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ، عَنْ عُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ، قَالَ: «أَنْزِلُوا آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الرَّأْسِ مِنَ الْجَسَدِ، وَبِمَنْزِلَةِ الْعَيْنِ مِنَ الرَّأْسِ، فَإِنَّ الْجَسَدَ لَا يَهْتَدِي إِلَّا بِالرَّأْسِ، وَإِنَّ الرَّأْسَ لَا يَهْتَدِي إِلَّا بِالْعَيْنَيْنِ»
Sayyiduna Salman (al-Farisi) (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Give the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) the place of the head in the body, and the place of the eye in the head, for the body is not guided except by the head, and the head is not guided except by the eyes."
