Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2618 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا الْغَلَابِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ، ثنا شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ شَبِيبِ بْنِ غَرْقَدَةَ، عَنِ الْمُسْتَظِلِّ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «كُلُّ بَنِي أُنْثَى فَإِنَّ عَصَبَتَهُمْ لِأَبِيهِمْ، مَا خَلَا وَلَدَ فَاطِمَةَ فَإِنِّي أَنَا عَصَبَتَهُمْ وَأَنَا أَبُوهُمْ»
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "For all the children of a daughter, their agnatic kin ('asabah) are through their father, except the children of Fatimah, for I am their 'asabah and I am their father."
