حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ جَنَادٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ، ثنا عَطَاءُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْخَفَّافُ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَمْرَةَ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: بِتُّ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَأَيْتُ عِنْدَهُ شَخْصًا، فَقَالَ لِي: «يَا حُذَيْفَةُ هَلْ رَأَيْتَ؟» قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ. قَالَ: «هَذَا مَلَكٌ لَمْ يَهْبِطْ إِلَيَّ مُنْذُ بُعِثْتُ، أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ فَبَشَّرَنِي أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ»
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I spent the night with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and I saw a figure with him. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O Hudhayfah, did you see?" I said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: "This is an angel who had never descended to me since I was sent (as a prophet) until today. He came to me tonight and gave me the glad tidings that Hasan and Husayn are the leaders of the youth of the people of Paradise."
