حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ شَيْبَةَ الْجُدِّيُّ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ يُونُسَ وَمَنْصُورٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَهُ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ ابْنِي هَذَا سَيِّدٌ، وَإِنَّ اللهَ سَيُصْلِحُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ بَيْنَ فِئَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ عَظِيمَتَيْنِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and with him was Sayyiduna al-Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and he was saying: "This son of mine is a leader (sayyid), and Allah will soon bring about reconciliation through him between two great groups of the Muslims."
