حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمُرِّيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ قَابُوسَ بْنِ الْمُخَارِقِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: جَاءَتْ أُمُّ الْفَضْلِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ بَعْضَ جِسْمِكَ فِيَّ. فَقَالَ: «نِعْمَ مَا رَأَيْتِ، تَلِدُ فَاطِمَةُ غُلَامًا، وتُرْضِعِينَهُ بِلَبَنِ قُثَمَ» . قَالَ: فَجَاءَتْ بِهِ تَحْمِلُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَوَضَعَتْهُ فِي حِجْرِهِ، فَبَالَ، فَلَطَمَتْهُ بِيَدِهَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَوْجَعْتِ ابْنِي رَحِمَكِ اللهُ» . قَالَتْ: هَاتِ إِزَارَكَ حَتَّى نَغْسِلَهُ. قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا يُغْسَلُ بَوْلُ الْجَارِيَةِ، وَيُنْضَحُ بَوْلُ الْغُلَامِ»
Sayyidah Umm al-Fadl (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I have seen (in a dream) a part of your body in me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have seen a good dream. Fatimah will give birth to a boy, and you will suckle him with the milk of Qutham." The narrator said: So she carried him and brought him to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and placed him in his lap, and he urinated, so she struck him with her hand. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have hurt my son, may Allah have mercy on you." She said: Give me your lower garment so that I may wash it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The urine of a girl is washed, and water is sprinkled over the urine of a boy."
