حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْهَيْصَمِ، ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ، عَنْ عَزَّةَ بِنْتِ عِيَاضٍ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قِرْصَافَةَ يَقُولُ: لَمَّا بَايَعْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَأُمِّي وَخَالَتِي وَرَجَعْنَا مِنْ عِنْدِهِ مُنْصَرِفِينَ، قَالَتْ لِي أُمِّي وَخَالَتِي: «يَا بُنَيَّ، مَا رَأَيْنَا مِثْلَ هَذَا الرَّجُلِ أَحْسَنَ مِنْهُ وَجْهًا، وَلَا أَنْقَى ثَوْبًا، وَلَا أَلْيَنَ كَلَامًا، وَرَأَيْنَا كَأَنَّ النُّورَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ فِيهِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Qirsafah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When I, my mother and my maternal aunt gave our pledge of allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and we returned from him, my mother and my aunt said to me: "O my son, we have never seen anyone like this man, with a more beautiful face, purer clothing or gentler speech, and we saw as though light were coming out of his mouth."
