Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2503 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Narrate

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْهَيْصَمِ، ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ، عَنْ عَزَّةَ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قِرْصَافَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " حَدِّثُوا عَنِّي بِمَا تَسْمَعُونَ، وَلَا يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ أَنْ يَكْذِبَ عَلَيَّ، فَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ - وَقَالَ: عَلَيَّ غَيْرَ مَا قُلْتُ - بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي جَهَنَّمَ يَرْتَعُ فِيهِ "
Sayyiduna Abu Qirsafah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Narrate from me what you hear, and it is not lawful for any man to lie about me. Whoever lies about me - that is, says about me what I did not say - a house will be built for him in Hell in which he will graze."
