حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ، ثنا حَرْبُ بْنُ سُرَيْجٍ الْمِنْقَرِيُّ، ثنا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، فَذَهَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَتَبَرَّزَ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ»
Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) during the Farewell Hajj. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to relieve himself, then he performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks."
