Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2306 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The niche

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اللَّحْدُ لَنَا وَالشَّقُّ لِغَيْرِنَا»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The niche grave (lahd) is for us, and the trench grave (shaqq) is for others besides us."
